THE COLEMAN CALL

We are the tigers,

the mighty Coleman Tigers.

We’re going change the world

Because we’re readers

and we’re writers.

We’re here to work hard.

We’ll be safe in the yard.

We’re going to try our best.

We’re going to pass the test.

We’re going to help a friend.

We’ll be tigers to the end.

We are the tigers,

the mighty Coleman Tigers.

We’re going to change the world

Because we’re readers

and we’re writers.

Pennies for Patients

Our school joined school nationwide in Pennies for Patients and Pasta for Pennies. For the new few weeks, we will help patients with blood cancers. All you have to do is collect coins and other donations and put them in your classroom's collection box. Remember that  every penny counts! Our school goal is to raise over $1,000.00.

Library Corner

Author Talks: Environmental lawyer and author of Operation Redwood, Susannah Terrell French, will be coming to Coleman on April 23rd to speak with 3rd - 5th grade students about the California Redwoods and what children can do to protect the environment and what prompted her to write a book for children.  Books available at Book Passage (tell them you’re from Coleman!)

Story Time - Saturday, April 26th we will have our neighborhood story time 9:30am - 11:00am for any people interested in Coleman, incoming kindergarteners - and our own Coleman students.  Includes stories, songs, crafts and snacks.

Run for the Gold

Coleman's 10th Annual run up Gold Hill Grade is coming up Sunday, May 4th! This great community event features a 1 mile walk, a 4k and a 7k up through the Dominican campus and onto Gold Hill Grade, followed by a delicious pancake breakfast and health fair!

Not sure you want to run? We always need trail monitors along the path to cheer our runners on, registration help, pancake flippers and health fair helpers. If you are interested, please contact Sara Sonnet at
